The Other CT River Bridge in CT

Not the shoreline at Old Saybrook but the crossing up at Enfield and Suffield for the Springfield shuttle and the Vermonter. Here are some shots up that way from yesterday.

I like this bridge because it doesn't hide the train at all.

Is the bridge single tracked, are there plans for putting second track back on the line?

The bridge itself is double tracked but the line is single and it's speculated by some that the line would be double tracked for commuter service. I don't know for sure.
