I love listening to Gamble and Huff especially Harold Melvin's group that gave the world Teddy Pendargrass. Among history of modern R&B/Rock Music since 1950, Gamble and Huff is so underrated is music exces/producers. That another topic.

There something else special about MJ. Except for Country(even the classic "We Are the world' he co-wrote is played occaionally on Country stations) Jackson records could be played across all genres and formats of radio stations worldwide. Be it Rock(ie "Beat It' "Dirty Diana) Dance("want to be starting something' 'Dont stop until you get enough')

"pop' Hip-hop("Jam' and "Thriller') Soft Rock(PYT) Gosspel("Man in the mirror')

and of course R&B.

How many artists in year 2009 could do that? MJ music could be played anywhere and only a handful of modern rock/r&b artists could do that. Elvis, The Beatles, Bob Marley and Motown comes to mind.
