And send the Select Bx12 to Co-Op City! I guess they realized them kids ain't gonna be paying to get on that select bus! Lol
mark1447 Posted June 27, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2009 wtf? No more BX12 to Orchard r u kidden me?? Now we have to take a local instead, Dear god! This is the fault of course, the Bx12 brts hardly has a damn Fare inspector. like wtf.. The B/O cant handle fair beaters of course. So does this mean the the Bx12 Local will stop at the Bx12 SBS stopsw from sedgwick to Broadway? or are the Bx12 lcl stops still there? And whats up with the Bronx 4 taht lead to this? Im confused
FamousNYLover Posted June 27, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 27, 2009 I am upset about this. Bx12+Select Bus Service was much fast ride than local because it makes non-stop between Pelham Bay Park & Orchard Beach similar to old Q53 express between Rego Park and Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. Luis1985 Posted June 28, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2009 it doesnt matter to me because whenever i go to Orchard Beach, i always take the to Pelham Bay Park and end up taking the Bx12 bus from there for a shorter ride, instead of having to take that long ride from the ( trains. Q43 Floral Park Posted June 29, 2009 Share #9 Posted June 29, 2009 I don't feel like there was a need to send the Bx12 local to Manhattan on the weekends. Saw 4 in a row yesterday afternoon (3 KB buses, 1 GH) and they weren't crowded at all. Plus they still had buses short-turning at Sedgwick. Q43 Floral Park Posted June 30, 2009 Share #10 Posted June 30, 2009 What did you expect? Ridership has dropped on the Bx12 LCL. I know that ridership dropped, so there's no point in it going 207th St on the weekends. It's not going to make more people ride it, is just wasting resources.
