Y2Julio Posted July 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2009 They never made a strip map for them on the , they never ran regularly on it. It only ran the R143 during the weekends when it runs as a shuttle. The strip map was just the map with the station lights turned off and a indicator on the map would tell people to listen to announcements from the crew. LRG Posted July 2, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 2, 2009 They only had two four-car trainsets of R143s on the on weekends and never had a strip map. With the R160s, the strip-maps are a thing of the past.
lilbluefoxie Posted July 2, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted July 2, 2009 I liked the strip map, but I can see how it would make it very hard to reassign a train to a different line
S78 via Hylan Posted July 2, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 2, 2009 It was until February 2008 when the R160As took their place.
North-Eastern T/O Posted July 2, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 2, 2009 They only had two four-car trainsets of R143s on the on weekends and never had a strip map. With the R160s, the strip-maps are a thing of the past. They run up to 4, 4 cars train on the over the weekends. CNR would send MET 3 full trains every Friday for service. 2 for service and 1 as a spear.
