Robert Paniagua Posted July 6, 2009 Share #51 Posted July 6, 2009 I hope we still get a few SMEE's down the Culver to Coney Island  Yeah me too, I'd like to catch a few corner cab cars on the Culver, West End lines as well as to Rockaway Park too! SubwayGuy Posted July 6, 2009 Share #52 Posted July 6, 2009 I wish I could live to see all of the BMT experimental cars (Multi, Bluebird, Green hornet, Zeyphr) in service along with the Triplexes and Standards. Definitely. Would have been interesting to see all of the experimental features of those cars also. Must have been a real treat to be a T/O back then. Zman Posted July 7, 2009 Share #53 Posted July 7, 2009 I'm quite sure that the N's R32s were gone towards Feb. 2004. They stuck around until late 2006.
R44 5278 Posted July 7, 2009 Share #54 Posted July 7, 2009 I wish I could live to see all of the BMT experimental cars (Multi, Bluebird, Green hornet, Zeyphr) in service along with the Triplexes and Standards. Those were definitely the golden days of subways/RRs. I wish I was around when the famous DL&W and PRR were around and enjoy their long routes before the collapse in the 60s.
