New stuff on elevator and escalator outages

I don't know if this will interest people but on the mta page of escalator and elevator outages there is a reason next to each one as to why there not working.http://adaoutage.mta.info/adaoutage/

Well thats a good way to get people confused of course, those who dunno wat an IRT, IND or BMT is. And wat an OOS is(Out of Service) lol

 

But nice catch. I wonder why didnt they use A or B division instead of IRT/IND/BMT..

It says what train line it is.Right to the left of the station name.

 

Yes but still can confuse the passanger on whats the cause. But then again you are right.

Because the riding people won't have a clue was to what A and B division is, while some might still be familiar with the BMT, IRT, IND since it was actually used in service.
