Phil D. 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2007 Hearing this unfold right now. Beach 60th st has 14 inch gashes all along the platform, caused by a moving train possibly R32 3891. More Info will be posted as I hear this unfold. Also other stations recieved damage as well as boards being knocked down and broken all over in this area. Broad channel was reported to have some damage as well. The train that did this was running light back to Pitkin. Now hearing trains are bypassing Beach 67th Street as well do to this. Hearing now they are bypassing ONLY IN THE NORTHBOUND DIRECTION. R1Toasty 0 Posted November 11, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 11, 2007 How does that happen, broken and hanging door or gate? Sounds like an anti-climber came partially detached, that's all I can think of as a culprit. Hopefully this won't take too long to fix.
Pablo M 201 35 Posted November 11, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 11, 2007 This sounds all too fishy. This sounds like something strong winds can cause. I wonder if we'll hear more on this....
error46146 1,007 Posted November 11, 2007 Share #6 Posted November 11, 2007 I guess the R32 wasn't happy that day and decided to knock down platforms
