Old subway roll destination signs for sale?

So, I recently had my eye on an ebay auction for a subway roll destination sign (complete with the case, and a working crank), but due to an ebay gltich during the last few seconds of the auction, I was unable to bid and ended up losing it.

Does anyone know where I can find a similar sign? I'd pay up to about $275 or $300 for something identical or near identical.

Many thanks!

Here's a link to the auction I lost:

Or, here's just a picture of the item:

I keep seeing a ton of the signs without the case. There's another one on there now with a case but this one just kind of looks like bare bones. I like how the one above is enclosed. (And this one is a bit expensive)

For an antique item it looks O.K. to me, but the price is just way in the sky. The seller is trying to make some bucks out of these!

Check ebay often. I have seen several signs like that but those really old ones do not interest me. Also the sign in the picture is up side down, the crank should be on the bottom.

But the older the roll sign or item the more its worth in the later years. This sign might be rare in like 20 yrs from now. Even the IRT Redbird Roll Signs would be very rare late on..

I am well aware of the fact that they are worth more the older they are, but I collect newer signs and other modern equipment. I have 2 redbird signs which I could not get rid of if I wanted too right now, but 30 or 40 years down the road I could get more then the $350 and $100 I paid (side sign and route sign). Plus, I'm not looking to make money off of my stuff, I'm sure some foamer would pay alot for my TA vests and hard hats and even some other stuff but thats not the point of having a collection.
