via White Plains Road Posted July 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2009 MTA New York City Transit Service Alert Posted on:7/4/2009 7:40:45 AM Due to switch problems at the 14th Street-Union Square Station , Woodlawn-bound trains are running local between the Brooklyn Bridge City Hall Station to the Grand Central-42nd Street Station. Please expect delays in service on the trains at this time. Also, due to a train with mechanical problems at the Queensboro Plaza Station: There is no train service from the Lexington Avenue-59th Street Station to the Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard Station. Forest-Hills-bound trains are running on the line from the 57th Street-7th Avenue Station to the 36th Street Station in Queens. Shuttle train service has been provided between the Queensboro Plaza Station and the Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard Station in both directions, where customers can make connections to the train service to and from Manhattan.
