RTS CNG Command Posted July 9, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 9, 2009 Was this shot taken yesterday afternoon? If that was the case, then I saw that same bus! I was around that same area yesterday afternoon, but it had an X51 sign instead of a Bx13 one. Nonetheless, awesome catch!
rmcconnell Posted July 10, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 10, 2009 Drivers occasionally use the Bx13 sign while not in service because the destination reads "Yankee Stadium". I once saw "Bx13" on a C40LF in Brooklyn in 2004.
PATCOman Posted July 10, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 10, 2009 Sometimes they use that since there is no program which has "GO YANKEES!!" The Bx13 reading actually reads "Bx13 YANKEE STD" Sorta off topic, but I remember when the Phillies were playing the Yankees, a Phillies sports writer wrote on Twitter "Whatever a "YANKEE STD" is I don't want it" or something like that. MTARegional Bus Posted July 10, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 10, 2009 looks like the driver is a big YANKEE fan.
