jacsnyy Posted July 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 10, 2009 There was a Flatbush NG07 leaving Casey Stengel Depot today, and a Fresh Pond RTS entering Stengel. Does this mean that they were training Stengel operators on either RTS's or NG07's?
7LineFan Posted July 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 10, 2009 You saw 3932, I believe. I caught it in the yard at 3:55. It was there for driver training according to SubChat. And someone here said that TTMG is listing two NGs at Stengel.

metsfan Posted July 10, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 10, 2009 I've seen every bus uses at CS depot at one point or another over the last couple of years. Even seen some from LIB before the merger. Some i think are just there for training or repairs or whatnot, but the only models i know to come out of there of note are the vikings and a few NG's. - A

aemoreira81 Posted July 11, 2009 Share #10 Posted July 11, 2009 Why is there a FP RTS at CS? Did any one get the #? The RTS bus(es) may be loaner(s) in preparation for the Bus Roadeo. Also, there is a picture posted here of 4179 at LaGuardia Airport on the Q48. Stengel is slated for 50 (4170-4219).

Ok once again if you read prior posts you would see where I said theRTS was a training class bus that stopped at depot.

If it's an Stengal for training drivers, does that mean that RTS's may be stopping by Stengal in the near future?
metsfan Posted July 12, 2009 Share #13 Posted July 12, 2009 I've seen the training bus (RTS) idling at CS many times. I think it goes there because it is a major connector for subway, bus and lirr. - A
