Thanks.

So yes I have seen some bell mouths on the 8th Ave line.

Actually a bellmouth is an opening in the tunnel that is a provision for a new line to be built. The first one that comes to mind for me is the one on the (F) before Lexington - 63rd for a provision for a connection to SAS Phase 3.

4. That is not a bell mouth, it is open space of the (F) line tracks. Also many of the places you have listed are known areas and are not bell mouths. As subwayguy said a bell mouth is a tunnel where there is no track. Alot of the places you listed are lay-up tracks or yard leads and unused tracks.

Is there any bellmouths or unused trackways on the IND, such as the 6th Avenue, 8th Avenue, Concourse, 63rd Street, Archer Avenue, Crosstown, Culver, Fulton Street, Rockaway, and the Queens Boulevard lines?

I am being very clam, I was simply saying thatthe area north of Jay Street is open space. I did not see that the OP also wanted unused track ways and how is anything I said ludacris? Where was the attack and why is it so important anyway?

Guest Charles

Queens Blvd is full of them. There's a big one right after Woodhaven Blvd, heading eastbound (towards Forest Hills + Jamaica)

btw using words like "attacking" to respond to other's helpful comments in your posts makes your own post sound, in your words, ludicrous.

No, in short the only way to get to it is through unmarked door ways. It would have been a seperate station from Broadway on the (G) just like 5th Ave on the (7) is seperate from 42nd Street Bryant Park on the (:((D)(F)(V).

Yeah, you do ask extremely vague questions...

Sorry.

isnt there one after the woodhaven blvd station on the (R) and (V)

I think there is also one just east of the 63rd Drive-Rego Park station on the (R) & (V).

Okay, here we go

1) after 145th st on the uptown side (C)

Well this is new. I never noticed it before....
