R62A 1991 Posted July 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 12, 2009 Went to a place called the Waterfront today. And that's cue for photos since the bus took 35 minutes to come: Bus stop @ the University. During rush hour, this place is a busfan's heaven. Double Destination Sign. Very good. This is called efficiency. They do "Neighborhood Destination, via another Neighborhood" The outside of the bus is very nice. High refresh rates on the back. I do like the color schemes on the buses. During rush hour, the 61C uses artics with MCI-style seats. And I take it 3 stops to go to Starbucks because it's there and it's free for me. Also, note: 3 different buses, same main route (61). This is what the MTA would do to the Q11 if they wanted to. And a final, VERY quick shot for me. This is a route to busfan for me. It goes all the way to the airport, which is about an hour ride each way. And, two videos: The 59U (my bus) via the Waterfront's Loop. The 59U via the Bridge. Hope you enjoyed!
