Question about L train service during midday

Recently,I've notes some trains go out of service at Myrtie av...anybody know the reason for this?quick turn around back to Manhattan?

It may have something to do with heavy ridership along the line north of Myrtle Avenue. Passengers see a greater necessity for trains north of Myrtle Avenue so the MTA alternates Myrtle trains with Canarsie trains.

It might be becuz its heading to ENY. Smilar to the (F) that heads to Ave X, (4) to Burnside Ave, (5) to Gunhill/180th, (7) to 111th or Willets Pt. (A) to Dyckman and so on...

If you're talking about the specific 10 AM-3PM period, there was a G.O. that lasted about a month that had every other train turn at Myrtle-Wyckoff. It's over now to allow shuttle trains from Broadway Junction to Canarsie during that time period.
