R62A 1991 Posted July 16, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 16, 2009 Like Mark said, all Brooklyn IRT trains will be heading via the Eastern Pkwy Express that weekend. Let's hope this means they'll be finishing the Washington Av switches at the east end of Eastern Pkwy-Brooklyn Museum, because that slow speed order got on my nerves after riding it twice a day (although I fully understand that it was needed to repair the tracks). Oh, and in addition, they're also short-turning some trains so as not to cause too much congestion: The last stop for some Utica/New Lots Avs-bound trains is Bowling Green Weekend, 12:01 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon, Jul 25 - 27 Transfer at Bowling Green to continue your trip. That makes sense, because sending the normal amount of 2, 3, 4 trains down the express tracks can wreak havoc.
