OaksModelRR Posted November 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2007 Big Apple cred: I occasionally worked in North Jersey and Midtown in the 1980's and 1990's, and even took the subway to a night game in the Bronx once (once is enough, right?). Used to take the Ben Franklin out of 30th Street at 7:30 (remember when trains had names?) and sometimes would beat my coworkers from Flushing to the office at ESB. Afternoon Congo had me back by dinner time. That said, I am a Philly boy who actually loves NYC, for the simple reason that if there was no NYC, all those Gotham crazies would probably live here!
