Bracamonte Posted July 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 18, 2009 I was walking after leaving summer camp and when I was near Queensboro Plaza, I saw smoke coming from the and elevated track north. When I looked underneath the EL, I saw flames coming out of a piece of track! There were lots firetrucks there. I manage to take a picture of them putting out the fire. Anyway, first we heard debris on the tracks at Queensboro Plaza. Then we heard a smoke condition at Lex and 59th. Must have been a combination of both I guess.
