AA 8th Avenue Posted July 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2009 Just wondering if my fellow NYCTF members have gone to see the new Highline trail on 10th avenue. If you have been there please leave any comments you may have. What did you think of the end result? Like the view over the 10th avenue square? There is still a lot to be finished. Just wanted to get your take on it... For reference check out the pics I posted on the Freight railroads forum that has the Highline.... Thanks. RokuSix Posted July 21, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 21, 2009 I haven't been on it, but I've heard there are capacity restrictions. Is this true?
AA 8th Avenue Posted July 22, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted July 22, 2009 Sort of but not really. They say that to make it seem important. Its just so that people are not bumping into each other and its not overcrowded. They make a line on Gansevoort St. Once you are on it then you wonder why they say that silly statement. Its a nice park but not like how it was before being open to the public. I was on it then also. Enjoy when you do go and visit.
