Fred G 63 #1 Posted July 21, 2009 I left the building at JSQ and things happened. oooohhhhh... Nothing is level. I hiked around to the east side of the station but it looked more interesting heading west. caught Conrail at Rts 1 and 9. I never met a bridge I didn't like. While on the bridge I heard a familiar rumble and there was a CSX train heading east over bridge HACK. I hiked back to the area around the station and killed a little time before heading back to the city. I am so busted. Thanks for looking. metsfan 2 #7 Posted July 21, 2009 Awesome shots ! I saw that conrail unit recently too. It's such a shame they took the wires down (or in some cases just cut the power) on that route. - A
Fred G 63 #8 Posted July 21, 2009 Awsome photos! Thanks trainfan22! Great pictures! Nice locations Fred! Thanks AA! The Wittpenn Bridge is definitely the best spot for day and night railfanning! Keep up the excellent job! Thanks, and thanks for furnishing the bridge name as I didn't know it. Great pics of the PATH fred!. Thanks, Mark! Awesome pics Thanks Myrtle Local. Awesome shots ! I saw that conrail unit recently too. It's such a shame they took the wires down (or in some cases just cut the power) on that route. - A Thanks At least all the structure appears to be intact so it's a matter of stringing cable. Nah, it'll be some porked up budget with oodles of double-secret overtime.:tdown:
kaback9 0 #9 Posted July 21, 2009 (edited) Nice shots Fred I had 8066 (its an SD40-2) on Q417 which I shot Saturday evening at West Trenton, that would make that train Q418 then. The second unit should be an SD70MAC I think the number 4777. http://kaback9.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1681741 Edited July 22, 2009 by kaback9
