EE Broadway Local Posted October 19, 2009 Share #51 Posted October 19, 2009 The Tennessee Titans lost today 59-0 to the New England Patriots. What might be horrifying (to Titan fans) is that the Titans have started 0-6 in 2009. You might recall last season when after the Titans went 3-1 in the Preseason, they started 10-0 before their first regular season loss. They went on to finish 13-3 winning the A.F.C. South. One of their three losses, however was to the Indianapolis Colts, who seemed to be out of it at 3-4 before rallying to win their final nine games. The 9-0 finish put the Colts second to the Titans at 12-4. Possibly adding to the horror is the Colts have started 2009 5-0 and are 14-0 in the regular season since Week 8 of last season when the Titans were 7-0 and the Colts were 3-4. Maybe the Titans are still stunned by their postseason loss to the Ravens. Next up: Colts at Rams next Sunday; Jaguars at Titans the following Sunday. P.S. The Rams are bad too: 0-6 to start 2009 after 2-14 last season and the Chiefs too: 1-5 after a 2-14.
