R62A 1991 Posted August 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2009 This was at about 7:30 this morning. Also, due to a police investigation at the Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue Station, there is no train service between the Rockaway Boulevard Station and the Broad Channel Station in both directions. In addtion, due to mechanical problems affecting the Broad Channel Bridge: There is no train service between the Broad Channel Station and the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue/Rockaway Park-Beach 116th Street Stations in both directions. -Shuttle train service will operate between the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue Station and the Rockaway Park-Beach 116th Street Station in both directions. As an alternative, customers are advised to take Q21 or Q53 buses making nearby station stops between the Rockaway Park/Beach 116th Street Station and the Rockaway Boulevard Station. Please expect delays in service on and trains at this time. Not good for it to happen during the AM rush.
MTR Admiralty Posted August 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2009 So basically, all A trains are going to Lefferts, and no trains are going to the airport. Wow, awful.

bknightshadow45 Posted August 5, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 5, 2009 I first heard about this on FOX 5 during Good Day New York. It was reported by 8:30am all service was back to normal. I was wondering that anyone was affected with the this Emergency G.O.?
lilbluefoxie Posted August 5, 2009 Share #5 Posted August 5, 2009 if the rockawayans are looking to get to manhattan they can always use the LIRR if that subway connection is blocked
LRG Posted August 5, 2009 Share #6 Posted August 5, 2009 if the rockawayans are looking to get to manhattan they can always use the LIRR if that subway connection is blocked Especially with an emergency service disruption they'd probably let them get on the LIRR for free.
