Black Matte flooring on R62

So I got on the (3) train this morning towards New Lots Avenue to grab the B60 to Canarsie at Rockaway Avenue when I noticed something interesting on the floor. Seems like the flooring was replaced with this black matte flooring, it's not like the normal black floors used. Sorry for the bad picture but I only had my cellphone to take a shot.

It's not even that. It has a matte finish to it. It doesn't have that "shiny" finish to it that the other flooring including the black with white specks has.

Really? Now that you mention it it does look kinda dullish compared to the other floors. Do you know what car number this is so I can go hunting for it?

Also comparing the floors, from what I see here and your picture above, the floor is not as glossy in your picture but the specks are gone. But since the main comparison is that the floors look different (one's glossy, the other isn't) then this would be kinda irrelevant but I just thought I would throw it out there.

Like Y2Julio said, he does not know the car number. If anyone wants to find it they may as well hunt the whole (3) line for it then, it's basically the only way.

I don't know the car number nor do I care about numbers. Don't know if they will replace all the flooring on the R62s with this black matte finish.

Not bad for a cell pic. My cell pics don't even compare to this.

I have to admit that this flooring is strikingly different from other black floors. It lacks the "shinyness" as how other described it and it lacks the coloured spots. I won't be surprised if the texture is different.

Nope hes not, Chipper10 was Charleston here. I think the landofthelost dude is 678a from Strappies.

Ha, I'd rather not worry my brains over on who he is. If his posts are of ill-quality, ignore them. Same thing Subchatters should do with Chipper.

The texture is different. It looked pretty close to this.
