Do you think it should stay as a Gun Hill Depot, Transfer to West Farms Depot since the shop is nearby, Or split with Gun Hill and West Farms Depots.Tell me about your thoughts.

Let it stay with Gun Hill pls tyvm:p...its bad enough West Farms took over 3 of Gun Hills routes!

Leave it at Gun hill, West Farms doesnt have room like I said for Bx9 topic, since the D60HFs are used on the Bx19, it cant hold Bx40/42s. Tho it was with West Farms before The new depot open i think?

I'd have them split with WF and have GH split the Bx8 and 31. A little o/t, does anyone feel the Bx41 should stay at KB, split with GH or go exclusive to GH?

 

The problem with sending routes to WF is that they woudl all need Artics and WF would end up losing 2-3 routes just to pick 1 up. Even on a split WF wouldn't have enough Artics and the Bx9, Bx40/Bx42 have problems now when they throw 40 footers on the routes. The Bx41 should stay out of KB because of the fact that most buses go on/off the route at Fordham Plaza. Put runs out of GH and your increasing the deadhead on runs to either terminal and a huge increase on Fordham Short turns.

 

The only thing I can see happening with NYCT bus assignments is the Bx32 going back to KB. Any other full depot moves wouldn't be worth it.
