Grand Concourse Posted September 10, 2009 Share #52 Posted September 10, 2009 True I remember that. IMO, it really should've been the M going there. But then again it might've confused riders about the M in two sections even though it was just a shuttle to Essex. I just don't understand why they don't just let the M run in Manhattan on weekends and why they have to 'confuse' riders in Brooklyn and Queens by having the J run to places the M does. North-Eastern T/O Posted September 10, 2009 Share #53 Posted September 10, 2009 They've also extended the to Prospect Park on weekends as a substitute for the in the past. In the long run, they should set a program for the to Metropolitan in the next upgrade. When the runs to Prospect Park it's not the regular extruded, it's a second train.
