Y2Julio 206 Posted August 17, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2009 So yesterday me and Joe were hanging out shooting around NYC, one of our stops was at 125th to check some MNRR rolling stock shots. Hope you like them.

Amtrak7 427 Posted August 17, 2009 Share #7 Posted August 17, 2009 Nice! The new Genesis paint scheme is applied on all units returning from rehab at Erie, PA, where they were built. I like how MNR has those DM directs from Poughkeepsie on weekends (and even a direct roundtrip to Wassaic), do I wish LIRR had direct diesel service! Truckie 374 Posted August 18, 2009 Share #9 Posted August 18, 2009 Nice! I like how MNR has those DM directs from Poughkeepsie on weekends (and even a direct roundtrip to Wassaic), do I wish LIRR had direct diesel service! With the amount of people on the Poughkeepise trains it would be silly to make them transfer at Croton-Harmon. There are too many stops with too many passengers in the non electrified territory. The amount of traffic the Harlem line sees to and from Wassaic isn't nearly as large. There for they only run a few Wassaic directs on the weekend. The Poughkeepsie directs are every hour on the weekend with the exception of the last run for the night to GCT and the last two runs of the night going back north.
