salieri101 0 #7 Posted August 21, 2009 The engine on the 1st and 3rd amtrak pic almost looks like an SKC engine (like in my sig). Is there any relation between the 2 engine types?
Ken S. 4 #8 Posted August 21, 2009 Did you paint the FL9 yourself cuz if you did. Thumbs up to you. That's actually an Athearn BB F7A that was offered in Amtrak Phase III colors, the remains of an Erie-Lackawanna diamond was put on by me. The engine on the 1st and 3rd amtrak pic almost looks like an SKC engine (like in my sig). Is there any relation between the 2 engine types? The first engine is an F40PHR (used parts from the SDP40Fs) and the third one is a GE B32-8WH.
