Abba Posted August 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2009 Here is the G.O details No trains between Atlantic and Utica Avs Weekday, 10:30 AM to 3 PM Mon to Fri, Aug 31 - Sep 4 Take the instead. _______________________________ Dyre Av-bound trains run local from Franklin to Atlantic Avs Weekday, 10:30 AM to 3 PM Mon to Fri, Aug 31 - Sep 4 Please allow additional travel time. So how is this gonna work? trains will only use the uptown track to relay at Atlantic? The (5)needs the downtown express track to run express there. And running the and uptown is gonna cause a big bottleneck since there all using one track. Am i not right

Shortline Bus Posted August 21, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 21, 2009 wrong. I just checked the MTA Site and the will be running in Brooklyn during that time but local. Assuming Daniel you been & riden on the lines in Brooklyn, It probably means this. The will terminate/start at Atlantic aka the Eastern Pwy/Nostrand lines express tracks. While the (5)will switch over to the local tracks at a cross over between Neviens and Atlantic and operate the same stops as the between Atlantic and Flatbush. The crossover between Neviens and Atlantic is the same one use late nights by the when it runs local in Brooklyn. Hope that answers your question?
