lost noo yawka Posted August 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 25, 2009 (NYCT)(NJT):nec:Hello to everyone, newbie here but not to the rail community, lived in the Big Apple, Dutchess & Suffolk county intil 1991 when I relocated to the Twilight Zone, don't ask why because I don't know myself, I miss New York, New Jersey & Connecticut railroading, In my earlier years I probably had the opportunity to ride everything in the tristate area, passenger & frieght, since 9/11 I hear many opportunitiess like that are just about nonexistant, such a shame. Anyway I am glad to be here & learn what's been happening since I'm gone, I do visiit from time to time due to a very patient & understanding wife, again thanks for the opportunity to join such a cool & interesting group. Try relocating from Staten Island/Brooklyn to Phoenix, AZ, then talk about the twilight zone.
