Are we Honestly that broke?

I was on hillside avenue the other day, and saw 9553 on the Q43.

the rear plate must have fallen off or something.

 

They replaced it with A PIECE OF PAPER AND CARDBOARD!

and wrote the bus plate # and official in sharpie.

 

I should have taken a picture.

is the (MTA) really that broke? :)

Probably was just a quick fix. It's the license plate; they have to get it from the state. They don't make them right away.

yeah, (MTA) is very much broke. Dest. signs will soon follow the same scheme.

 

Most of the time the front signs are all jumbled and a piece of paper with the route number is on the front of the bus.
