Vintage trains i think an R1-R9 will run on on the f from queens plaza to 2nd ave this sunday i got this from subchat thank you mta i hope next sunday they will do one with the redbirds on the irt

 

I will double check tommorow when i report to Bedford Park if they are running there will be a notice about it..

 

Add that to the Delta's going to Second Ave agin this weekend will just add to the fun...

 

Im sure there will be lots of photo ops...

 

I just hope they get my good side since im on the Delta on the weekends!

It's so nice some love to ride vintage trains. If i were waiting and that thing pulled up I would wait for the next train. An air conditioned train has a hard enough time filtering out the funk of others in the train, the rust buckets fans will just distribute the funk evenly throughout the train cars.

I know I can't wait. Great way to spend a sunday afternoon. And great time for me to return to NY. Haven't been to NY for while now.

Again! When they said vintage trains running in December I thought a they meant a couple of different vintage trains.

Thats what I was thinking too. I was hoping to let the IRT SMEE's come out and play. Or hoping that the train ran via Brighton Line too. But oh well, at least they're bringing it back to ride for free. I'm grateful for it.
