SubwayGuy Posted September 18, 2009 Share #26 Posted September 18, 2009 While where at it, lets remove the protection boards from the 3rd rail and allow people to walk through the tunnel. It's all about thinning out the heard. As long as they all by lifetime passes at a cost of $63,000 each first. Of course this is AFTER MTA amends the ridership policy to say that "anyone who injures themself being in a restricted area and/or not minding their surroundings is hereby unable to sue or prosecute anyone for any damages whatsoever. In addition, their families or estates may not sue either.

R32 3348 Posted September 22, 2009 Share #32 Posted September 22, 2009 They can't cut back much. The actual structure work is well under way and both stations really need the work. The reason why the viaduct is covered is because chunks of concrete are falling off the damn thing. I don't mean the actual viaduct work is going to get cut. I mean that the was planning on scaling back the renovation work being done to the stations themselves.
