ML111 Posted September 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2009 I've posted this on subchat, but I would like to see what you all think about it: This has been the talk of the city of New Haven, CT for over a month now, a petition/movement by major public, private and corporate entities in New Haven (including Yale University) to have Bolt add a stop along their popular New York-Boston service. A URL link to an article in the Yale Daily News explains a bit of what's happening: http://www.yaledailynews.com/news/city-news/2009/09/09/city-votes-lure-boltbus/ What do you guys think of this? metsfan Posted September 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 12, 2009 I need to bolt for a buck then i will tell you, never using the service i don't think my opinion would mean much. I do know though, that new haven is a large pax point along the NEC, while it will never substitute for a biz class amfleet or acela ride, it might take some load off of MNRR during peak times and allow flexibility in emergencies or service issues. - A
