Forest Glen Posted September 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2009 I'm intrigued by the new combined Metro-North and NJ Transit service. This is my first chance of seeing the Hell Gate Bridge without paying Amtrak's ridiculous prices. I want to take a train from Stamford to Penn Station. Is that possible or do I have to pay to go all the way to the Meadowlands?

Is that possible or do I have to pay to go all the way to the Meadowlands? http://www.mta.info/mnr/html/SchedPDF_vWEB_Brochure.pdf The tickets are for football games at the stadium only (for now), the train stops at NYP, but they are only days of 1 pm games, and only 3 trains coming and 3 going. By the way, the reason amtrak has those prices is because you could easily take MNRR to GCT, walk to 33rd and connect via PATH to hoboken.
