Totally awesome pics!

Lol, at least the R160 J's 'refresh rate' only blots out 1/4 of the sign than being random.

Also those R46's looks great on the A.

Also great job with the F and E Jackson Heights shot.

FYI, High-Definition only applies to videos not photos. So none of these are "HD" photos. B)

It's referring to when it's taking videos, not photos.

<marketing BS removed>

"HD" is a moniker that refers to 720p/1080i/1080p video. Of course, the term means nothing on it's own...you have to use it in relation to the 1950's-era NTSC television standard which called for 480i video.

Despite what you may believe (and what Kodak spoon-feeds you), your camera does not output "HD photos". That is utter garbage. Tell me, what is the threshold between "SD photo" and "HD photo"? 6MP? 8MP? 10MP? 12MP?

Not sure, something to do with taking pics of the LED sign and how hard it sometimes is to get the full circle than to have parts of the circle 'blacked out'.

Nice shots buddy! Your video of the R160A (J) trains do raise one problem, and that's the fact that the (J)'s don't have a FIND programmed to and from Metropolitan Avenue.

Here's what I think the (J)'s announcements would say if it was programmed to run on the (M) to/from Met Avenue.

This is a Queens-Bound (J) train, via the (M) line.

The Next Stop is Central Avenue.

This is a Metropolitan Avenue bound (J) train via the (M) line.

The Next Stop is Forest Avenue.

and going to Broad Street:

This is a Brooklyn bound (J) local train via the (M) line.

The Next Stop is Seneca Avenue.

This is a Manhattan bound (J) train via the (M) line.

The Next Stop is Myrtle Avenue Broadway.

In my opinion, if all else fails, name the (J)s into a (M).

im confused a bit on your last sentence, do u mean when does HD photo starts?

It says 14.2MP [4:3]

12.6MP[3:2]

10.7MP[16:9]

5,0MP[4:3]

and goes down to 1.2MP...

Most likly the MP and size changes, which it does. Im guessing HD Photo means viewing the Image in HD size?

______________

@S78 via Hylan/trainfan22 thx!

Oh ya, that. Seems like Cameras have issues with Red Light?

Thanks and yes they are not programmed similar to (E) to 34th St...

That R160 F at Northern Blvd was my favorite shot. Nice!

Nice!

I like how even though the C/R made manual announcements, the display still said 'Jamaica Center'.

Do they have an option for 'Listen for announcements'?
