RTS CNG Command Posted September 17, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2009 For a few months, I went on a quest to find the RTS 8565, and in late-May, I was able to find it and take about 100 pictures of the bus. I also took two vids of the bus in action, one when it parked and the other when it left. Have fun viewing! Edit: I'm having trouble embedding my YouTube videos in the thread, so I'm putting in the links until I fix it. ETA II: *laugh* Guess I found out how, after all! ^^;

T J Trainman Posted September 18, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 18, 2009 If you still want 8565, go to the LGA depot.
Grand Concourse Posted September 18, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 18, 2009 excuse me for asking, but what's so special about 8565?
RTS CNG Command Posted September 18, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted September 18, 2009 Like I said in another thread, 8565 was the first NYCT bus to have a rooftop tailpipe, and it had a pair, 8566. I also had a liking for this bus 'cause it was the only NYCT bus to have double-rear vents. It's more of a personal liking for me. Since spotting this bus in late-May, I've seen it one other time. But since filming the clips, I stopped looking for it and continued doing my usual busfanning routine.
