Tinamarie Posted September 24, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 24, 2009 Ok so there is a festival going on in Murray Street this Friday in Manhattan. The trains that go there are to City Hall and to Park Place. Does anyone know what type of festival this is? I'm planning to go and I would like some information about it before I do go. Thanks! Here is quote from NYCDOT Weekly Traffic Advisory Murray Street between Broadway and Church Street: This street will be closed Friday from 11am to 6pm for the Downtown Visiting Neighbors-Murray Street Festival as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO). Joe Posted September 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 25, 2009 I assume this is a civilized parade and not another West Indian Day Parade?
Tinamarie Posted September 26, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted September 26, 2009 I went today. It was just a one block little festival. They sold typical festival food, tools, scarves, jewelry, music and other knick knacks.
