Joe Posted September 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2009 Last photo wasn't edited for color at all...every color there was present. These are kind of old; now that the winter is right around the corner I can venture out for some of those spectacular winter sunsets. Perhaps it's time to take a trip out to Montauk to catch the sunrise.

Joe Posted September 25, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted September 25, 2009 Nikon D200. Bingo. I used an 80-200 f/2.8 for all of the shots except the last one where I used the 35 f/2. All shot around f/8 - f/11 (the 80-200 really shines at f/11).

Joe Posted September 27, 2009 Author Share #16 Posted September 27, 2009 Thanks fellas. This was the first time my brother and I went out with the tripod at night. Some cleaner weather and i'll have to get out there more at night. I really like that QBB shot. Thanks for sharing Joe! Thanks Harry. That seems to be the most popular of the bunch (at least from what my flickr stats tell me). I shot that at f/11 with the 80-200...an awesome lens. I imagine the upcoming 70-200VRII will be just as good if not better. 1st and last pics were the best Thanks FG. Indeed, those two are the most popular. I like the last one myself the most, even if the blue sky does have a little funkiness on the left side. It appears to be emanating out of the building.
