Tinamarie 0 Posted September 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2009 Does the train go to Park Place? Because I'm on MTA.INFO and I looked at the train line and it doesn't say anything about the going to Park Place, yet when I look at the train line, it connects to the at Park Place. So I am confused.
EE Broadway Local 18 Posted September 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 25, 2009 Hi, there is a transfer between the at Park Place and the at the World Trade Center. This transfer also connects to the at Chambers Street.
MattTrain 3,120 Posted September 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 25, 2009 I believe three stations are connected by a transfer. Chambers Street-World Trade Center Chambers Street Park Place I believe connecting to the to and from the requires you to use the stairways along the Chambers Street platform. SubwayGuy 2,321 Posted September 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 25, 2009 It is possible, but a pain in the butt to make the connection from the at WTC to the at Park Place. Easier to just grab an or to Chambers instead and make the connection that way. Unless you have an Unlimited Ride card, then you can leave fare control and make the transfer from the a little easier...
Tinamarie 0 Posted September 26, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted September 26, 2009 Yea, thanks. I realized today that WTC and Park Place is the same thing.

metsfan 2 Posted September 26, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 26, 2009 WTC and park place is the same thing? I've never seen this passageway, or i'd have used it at least 100 times going from uptown or wtc to SF on the . To me anyways WTC is right next to the PATH station, and a block and a half away from park place, which is to me more related to the city hall stations... - A

It's a staircase the front of the platform going uptown (whereas the exit to Park Place is at the very front of the platform going downtown). metsfan 2 Posted September 26, 2009 Share #9 Posted September 26, 2009 Ah, no wonder i've never seen it, i'm always using the vessey st entrance for the & the one across from the woolworth building for the . I've looked for the entrance to the irt at chambers before but following the signs seems to go nowhere. They must have a few signs missing or something. - A
EE Broadway Local 18 Posted September 27, 2009 Share #10 Posted September 27, 2009 At the Chambers Street-World Trade Center station, there is a connection between the platforms used by the and the at the mezzanine level. It's this passageway that the transfer to the at Park Place is accessed. It's free but you have to access the connection at the mezzanine level to make the transfer.
