bveguy Posted September 26, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 26, 2009 In the beginning, I got stopped by the dispatcher at Prospect Park because I took a picture of a bus. Then, I showed him the NYPD Photo Directive, and BAM! PWNED BIG TIME! Let's start off with the pics: Which depot? Saving the worse for last.... The dispatcher that stopped me. Amtrak7 Posted September 26, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 26, 2009 Nice shots. What's the deal with the W8 St LED sign? Don't all the shuttles that run past Kings Hwy run to CI?
Grand Concourse Posted September 26, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 26, 2009 Very nice pics! Ah, now I know which RTS i saw, it was 5226 [i remember seeing that ad wrap on the back of the bus] As for the missing sticker, it's a NG, so I'm guessing Flatbush? Nice catch of 4244. The highest I've seen so far has been 4242, which ran right behind 4241 on Thursday on the B41.
MattTrain Posted September 26, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 26, 2009 Nice ones. Even the articulated bendy buses were on the , it must have been a real busfest. I think the B68 and B49 buses also carried some load from the too.

bveguy Posted September 27, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted September 27, 2009 Nice shots. What's the deal with the W8 St LED sign? Don't all the shuttles that run past Kings Hwy run to CI? Thanks! The W8 thing I'm not sure about, although it was one rare one. Very nice pics! Thanks! That NG was from the B2, so whichever one that comes out of.. Nice ones. Even the articulated bendy buses were on the , it must have been a real busfest. I think the B68 and B49 buses also carried some load from the too. Thanks! It was a busfest to me lol. I liked riding on all the Orions. Nice photos! Nice stuff! And thanks for including the Geico eyes! Thanks! I always feel like somebody's watching me lol. Excellent shots! Thanks! Nice pics! Thanks! nice photo shot$ . wht da dispatcher say? Thanks! Now, since that was my first pwnage of an MTA employee, I remember it word for word lol. I'll give a dialogue. Dispatcher: YO! Come over here! *motions for me to go towards him* (which I didn't... If he wants to yell at me, he should come to me.) Dispatcher: Why'd you take a picture of the bus? Me: Um... Its allowed... Dispatcher: No, its not. The cops are gonna lock you up for that. They think you're a terrorist. Vinny: It's allowed, here... *I take out the NYPD Photo Directive and start to unfold it.* Person wearing an MTA vest: Ohh shiiiii*, he got it. The NYPD Photo Directive. *I hand it to the dispatcher.* Person wearing an MTA vest: Operations order. Investigation of indiciduals engaged in suspicious photography and video surveillance. *Person wearing the MTA vest points to number 3 on the paper.* *The dispatcher reads the paper.* *The dispatcher hands it back to me, and we give each other a dirty look and he walks away in defeat *
MattTrain Posted September 27, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 27, 2009 The dispatcher is probably camera shy. I've taken dozens of photos of buses and only one bus operator asked me questions regarding me taking photos of them.
