Daniel The Cool Posted September 28, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 28, 2009 Did anyone rode a train from the first to last stop? My first time doing that was on the Train in 2003 And my 2nd time was on an R68 ( Train during my July 1st 2009 Trip from Brighton Beach to W 145th Street. It was like an 50-70 minutes ride and it felt cool. Too bad I never did that on an R40 Slant. Now lets here who rode an train from first to last stop besides a Shuttle. R44 5278 Posted September 28, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 28, 2009 The only line in which I rode its entirety was the 7. In most cases, it's slow and boring without the express and I would much rather take the F at 42nd and transfer at Roosevelt. Otherwise if the QBL was undergoing a GO, the best option is to take the local in its entirety.

R32 3348 Posted September 28, 2009 Share #15 Posted September 28, 2009 If you're talking about railfanning a train end to end in both directions, all in one go, I don't have the patience to do that. If only they would install those flip seats on the A cars like those on the R142/As-R143s. At least those aren't that flat and one can actually rest their head on the corner.
