ay ay ay!!! lol. i did it using R44's, lol. if i wouldve been on a R32/R38/R40/R40M/R42, i wouldve been bored!

lol i could never be bored on an R32....R44/R46s are the only trains to date in this system I'm capable of falling asleep on.

@ Julio: I did fall asleep on that R40S but I recall having 4 hours sleep in a span of 48 hours lol.

Was that the day we rode from B'way-Nassau to 207, then back down to Mott Av? That was a loooong trip. Was it express or local?

LOL I can't believe we actually did that. Local the entire way...when i woke up i stood up simply because it was more comfortable than sitting down.

Local and I got the RFW for 90% of the trip. ;)

If I recall you met Mike, Joe, and I at Bway Nassau...you showed up in the back car of the slant we were looking for in the first place. I couldn't think of a more epic arrival than that.

Foamer bastard. Those seats sucked too. I say good riddance to the slants (and damn those 160s for having uncomfortable seating as well).

@_@ yah...very much agreed ^^^^

lol no sarcasm. i really wouldve been bored. the R32, R38, R40, R40M and R42's doesnt have the windows seats like the R44, R46, R68 and R68A's do.
That's the good thing about them, I hate bucket seats still but I like window seats. I'm sorry but I just don't like a chair hugging my buttocks.......:o

I was too young to remember the (T) and the (TT) but the (T) ran weekdays from Astoria and Saturdays from 57th Street to Coney Island via Broadway express and West End and the (TT) ran from Chambers Street to Coney Island.

Today, you would have to take an (N) train from Astoria to 36th Street and a (D) train from 36th Street to Coney Island to replicate the (T)'s weekday route. You would have to take an (M) train from Chambers Street to Bay Parkway and a (D) train from Bay Parkway to Coney Island to replicate the (TT)'s route.
