I was getting ready to hop into the to the Bronx to run an errand when I remembered the East Side IRT was snarled. I took the . Heading downtown, I took the , and it was still acting up somewhat. Combined with the Jerome Exp G.O., a trip that normally takes less than an hour took two hours! When we reached 59th St. the train was held in the station due to signal problems at Union Sq. Just this morning I was waiting for the train at 59th St. around 7 AM, and there were signal problems down the line. A local train took me to school. When we reached 59th St. the train was held in the station due to signal problems at Union Sq. Just this morning I was waiting for the train at 59th St. around 7 AM, and there were signal problems down the line. A local train took me to school. This is not a good day for the Lexington Ave. line! You can say that again. The West Side had it's bit of trouble in August. It's the beginning of the month, and already issues are arising? Coney Island-bound trains run on the line from 36 St to Coney Island (to replace service, when they could've easily extended either the ). and what i saw was: Brooklyn-bound train running on the line from Roosevelt Av, Queens and West 4 St. (it pulled in at 34 St-Penn Station via 8 Ave.) Brooklyn-bound train running on the line from 59 St to West 4 St (it pulled in at 34 St-Penn Station via 8 Ave.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
