Yes but its to Hoboken I believe and you can switch to a Midtown train at Newark Broad..its a start

They should reopen the Lower Boonton as a diesel express route to relieve any congestions (not saying any exists) when the ARC is complete. After all, the Lower Boonton is a shorter route to Hoboken than the DL&W mainline.
