Orion 27 Posted October 3, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 3, 2009 Crest/Colgate = Best toothpaste in my opinion. I brush my teeth for 3-4 minutes if I'm fanning all day, and 2 minutes before fanning if I am fanning for part of the day, and then 2 minutes again when I come back. It all depends. Urbanfortitude 123 Posted October 3, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 3, 2009 i asked my dentist. She suggested an electronic tooth brush and a toothpaste that contains baking soda for me. I'll grab a new one but otherwise its probably best you replace your toothbrush at least every 3 months or so.

LRG 217 Posted October 3, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 3, 2009 I missed a word. How can you tell if my toothpaste wears out? Toothpaste cannot wear out, it either does the job or it doesn't. If the current one you have isn't doing it, switch over to Crest or Colgate.

Queens Surface 434 Posted October 4, 2009 Share #9 Posted October 4, 2009 All you got to do is brush your teeth up and down and all around and it should be all clean. I like to brush my teeth for 6 minutes using quality Colgate toothpaste , the same one endorsed by Orion.
R32 3348 11 Posted October 4, 2009 Share #10 Posted October 4, 2009 1. Use Crest or Colgate toothpaste (any type of Crest/Colgate) 2. You're supposed to brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes in the morning and at night 3. Press down when you're brushing, but not on the gums. 4. Brush systematically. Brush the inside of the lower left, then inside of the lower right, then inside center, inside upper left, inside center, inside upper right, then do the same for the outside. Speaking of which, I'm due for a new toothbrush right around now, so I'll buy one tomorrow

metsfan 2 Posted October 4, 2009 Share #15 Posted October 4, 2009 Brush for two minutes. Thirty seconds on each corner of your mouth. Ding ding, we have a winner! Using swirl-flick motions, flicking to the crown or chewing surface of the tooth, farther back in the mouth around to the front. Make sure you get your cheeks, gums, roof of your mouth, and the very back of your tongue as well! - A
