Tinamarie Posted October 9, 2009 Share #27 Posted October 9, 2009 It was either the S61/91 or the S44/94. Those buses serve both the ferry and the mall, but the S61/91 operates via Victory Boulevard, and the S44/94 operates via Richmond Avenue. I think it was the S44. It wasn't express though. It was the longest bus ride of my life! LOL
Tinamarie Posted October 9, 2009 Share #28 Posted October 9, 2009 Q45 is a short route, from 74th St bus terminal in Jackson Heghts to the Atlas mall in Glendale. Before it was extended to the mall it ending at 80th St/Eliot Ave. Yeah the Q45 is a short route. I think the Q55 (my home bus) is a pretty short route as well. Infamous85 Posted October 10, 2009 Share #31 Posted October 10, 2009 I've never busfanned before but I have ridden bus routes from end to end. M4 - Took it from the Cloisters Museum all the way to the last stop, it was such a long ride that I fell asleep and woke up and we still weren't even there yet. Q30 (regular & school tripper) - I've almost ridden it from end to end, I used to get on at either Jamaica Center or Merrick Blvd and take it all the way to Marathon Parkway every single day (Mon - Fri). Q44 (school tripper) - I used to take this everyday from my school, I used to hate when the driver used to terminate it at Sutphin Blvd when the sign said it was supposed to go to Merrick Blvd. Q85 - I have ridden it from end to end but not all in the same trip, its either to/from Jamaica or to/from Green Acres from the same stop. 319 (longest NJT route at nearly 200 miles long) - I've never ridden NJT 319 from end to end (PABT to Cape May) as we always get off one stop (Wildwood Bus Terminal) before the last stop (Cape May) but its close enough since the 2 stops are only about 7 miles apart. Sometimes we have to transfer to the 552 at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal. I have ridden Peter Pan and Greyhound end to end from NYC to Washington DC and a bus end to end from NYC to Philadelphia. jacsnyy Posted October 10, 2009 Share #34 Posted October 10, 2009 The longest route I think I've taken from end to end would be the B61. LRG Posted October 21, 2009 Share #47 Posted October 21, 2009 I've taken the S79 a couple of times but I don't necessarily get on at the "first" stop at the mall heading to Brooklyn, but rather within the vicinity of the mall. I've taken the S62 but it only between the College and the terminal (it's advertised as the full route when the S62 is running, and on Saturdays). I also took the S53 one time from Port Richmond to Brooklyn.
