Astoria Line Shut Down

Recommended Posts

Posted on:10/8/2009 6:12:13 PM

Due to switch problems at the Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard Station, there is no service on the (N) and (W) trains in both direction from the Queensboro Plaza Station to the Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard Station.

Please expect delays in service on the (N) and (W) trains at this time.

This is defidently very painful, especially in the heart of rush hour!

That's not cool, but I believe there are connecting buses that will take them to every station. The Q102 serves all (N)(W) stations between Queensboro Plaza and 30 Avenue, the Q16 to Astoria Boulevard, and Q69 to Ditmars Boulevard, which all collect with the Q102 at 21 St and Astoria Boulevard.
