Eastman346 Posted December 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted December 9, 2007 Today the R32 was reigning supreme on the F line. I must have saw 8 in the matter of 20 minutes. I'm not around the F line much so I was surprised. I know they run on the F sometimes but not so much now.
Phil D. Posted December 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted December 9, 2007 Yeah, I saw more R32s today then R46s. The reason for this is for the Holidays to have extra equipment. Also there were 3 Slant 40s and 1 R40M on the Q. Some good stuff out there today, and will be tomorrow. Check my pics out.

Harry Posted December 10, 2007 Share #6 Posted December 10, 2007 Yes I can confirm that they are running hard on the Culver. I've seen a couple of them myself. It's great to see them running on the Culver like that. Hopefully they'll be more around when I use the this weekend.
N-Trizzy2609 Posted December 11, 2007 Share #7 Posted December 11, 2007 I heard due to the recent R-160Bs running on the N-Train line, the N is shifting over their R-32s to the F and the F is replacing their Coney Island fleet of R-46s and shifting them to Jamaica Yard where there trying to get rid of their few R-32. Think about it, a yard full of R-46's and another full of R-32's.
Pablo M 201 Posted December 11, 2007 Share #8 Posted December 11, 2007 I heard due to the recent R-160Bs running on the N-Train line, the N is shifting over their R-32s to the F and the F is replacing their Coney Island fleet of R-46s and shifting them to Jamaica Yard where there trying to get rid of their few R-32. Think about it, a yard full of R-46's and another full of R-32's. It wasn't that. What had happened was that the line superintendent said that he doesn't want R32s in service on the ever again. N-Trizzy2609 Posted December 11, 2007 Share #9 Posted December 11, 2007 I heard different but I don't wanna argue. Then again I could never imagine the N-Train without the R-32. LOL my rap name is N-Trizzy and my favorite train is the R-32 so you get the picture.

Pablo M 201 Posted December 11, 2007 Share #14 Posted December 11, 2007 that sounds kindof selfish and a bit unbelieveable don't you think? Well, can't fight direct orders like that. Good thing I railfanned the R32 on the entirely before that order came out.
Brighton Local Posted December 11, 2007 Share #15 Posted December 11, 2007 I heard about this; like in April of this year right? The remaining R32's went from the N to the B, and by June, those sets from the B, I was told went to Pitkin or Jamaica.
