FamousNYLover 578 Posted October 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2009 After that OpenHouse NY at Waterfront Museum, we had lunch near Trolley before we head to next event. With Japanese guest Trolley tracks Enjoy it!
Rutgers Tube 0 Posted October 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 14, 2009 So I see you had lunch over at Fairway! Those trolleys are so dope, I wish that Bob Diamond wasn't such a political turn-off and could gather the support and funding to revive light rail in Red Hook. The cobblestone streets down there practically lend themselves to the application. Great pictures, I might add!
Y2Julio 206 Posted October 14, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 14, 2009 I thought the DOT told them to rip those tracks up.
Rutgers Tube 0 Posted October 14, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 14, 2009 I thought the DOT told them to rip those tracks up. Is that true? There are remnants of other street car tracks around Brooklyn that will most likely never vanish for various reasons.
Y2Julio 206 Posted October 14, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 14, 2009 They had rebuilt some new trolley tracks but they received a notice from the DOT that they no longer had funding and to rip the tracks up.
