CPBO Posted October 18, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted October 18, 2009 Traveling abroad is one of the best things one can do......so much history in this world of ours.....and out side of the U.S. it gets really good!! I remember sitting in class in highschool and thinking who cares about history......and now that I am older....I get goose bumps when I see stuff I studied in school as a teanager......my trip to Italy was over the top.....ssssooo much History....and it is like 3500 years old..... I got a taste of this in Cologne Germany as the old city hall dates back to 11th Century.... Cologne City Hall is Germany’s oldest city hall. It was first mentioned between 1135 and 1152. The City Hall was then located next to the city’s medieval Jewish quarter. In the 14th century a new City Hall was build on the foundations of the old one. In 1367 a fire in the Jewish quarter caused severe damage to the building.
