Nabinut Posted October 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2009 Here's some photos from Wednesday, September 30th: The bus that started it all...New Flyer 1000: 1341 waits to turn at a light with both Popeyes & Subway share space: Flxible 6075 laying over on Route 72 near Lincoln Park: 6026 driving through Lincoln Park with the midst of fall leaves changing: 1371 cruising down converted North Side apartments on one of two heavy lines: 6182 works as a driver shuttle for the Chicago Cubs game: 6167 leaving Jefferson Park CTA Station in the midst of the afternoon rush hour: Now for PACE: 2359, a 1993 Orion I still puffing along: PACE operates 161 Orion VIs in active service built between 2000 to 2004. 6128 is seen leaving on Route 270, one of the heavier PACE routes: Lastly, PACE's largest fleet comes from NABI, which has delivered upwards of 300 buses to the system since 1998; 6204 is one of 100+ that was ordered in 2003 and is seen on Chicago's South Side: Now for the Videos: New Flyer 1871: Cummins ISL/ZF Transmission: Optima Opus 540: Cummins ISB/ZF Transmission: PACE Orion I 2359: Detroit Diesel 6V92/Allison Transmission: PACE Orion VI 6128: DD50/Allison (Bus whistles throughout) A Mix video from Chicago, Part II: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
